Now wouldn’t that be a funny. Let’s imagine the United States with a female president for a moment. Now that would be a laugh riot wouldn’t it? Women do not have a place among the men at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. America was founded by men, so why shouldn’t it be run by them? In fact, wouldn’t it just be better if the District of Columbia were to have no politically active women within it’s borders at all? This is completely untrue and if this is your way of thinking than perhaps you’d better mosey on down to another blog. This isn’t quite your domain anymore buddy.
When will people realize that women are capable of everything a can accomplish and in many cases, more capable? You see folks, women have different ways of thinking about life than most men. Although it may be transparent sometimes, consider the following. How many male leaders and politicians have made gargantuan mistakes and blunders versus women in the same fields? It’s all down to morals. The very morals that the Church and old time traditions have pressed into the minds of millions throughout history. These morals are, in many cases, sexist and support male chauvinism. The concept that it’s only proper for woman to stay home and cook, clean, take care of the children, and have a dinner waiting for her husband when he gets home from work is outrageous. Try telling that to Jeannette Rankin, the first women to be elected to House of Representatives. What about Sandra Day O’Connor? Did these people destroy civilization? They did no such thing. They served this country’s government and citizens justly and efficiently while in office. Women are tough. They can handle just about anything. Whether it be having a child or pushing a bill through Congress.
Now Hilary Clinton is a good example of a woman who’s determined. She’s done much more than rise above being a housewife. When she was the first lady, you can bet your bippy she wasn’t spending her days in the kitchens making Bill and his cabinet bacon-wrapped scallops and crab cakes. She was always working with her Husband on programs to improve America. Now she’s running for president. That takes plenty of courage and strength to do. Not only that, she has support. Not as much support as the country seems to be investing in the male competitors, but enough to make it clear that she can handle running against the guys.
Perhaps all this country needs is a woman’s touch to set some of our major problems straight. Sometimes the only thing that differentiates a good idea from a bad idea is the mind that mulls it over. Sometimes it’s the pair of eyes that sees what goes on. I don’t know if Hilary Clinton is the best possible woman for the job, but I do know that women think differently then men. When this country finally elects a woman to the presidency, we will see changes, and hopefully all for the better.

The first paragraph of your blog worried me for a while. I was wondering where it was heading and my comment to you was not going to be a happy one. I do agree that women think very differently from men and we should have a woman run this country. I also agree that Hillary may not be the best choice, and I absolutely believe that people should not be voting for her just because she is a woman. I also think they shouldn't disregard her for being a woman, but don't you think that voting for her based on this alone is basically the same thing? I was recently talking to someone who does not like Hillary, loves McCain, yet is going to give her vote to Hillary simply because she is a woman. This is wrong! And although I think we should have a woman as president eventually, I am not quite sure if we are ready for one yet. When we do elect a woman as president, it will truly be a high point for America. We will be a changed country.
The first paragraph didn't just worry me. It scared my dad who was reading over my shoulder.
And I agree with everything you said.
It's an inside joke thing...
Some people need to understand maybe it wasnt the right time., Women are out of the home so get up with the program.
