I recently read a blog talking about the war in Iraq, and President George Bush. In this blog, the writer was talking about how he wished that the troops would be able to leave Iraq because he has family in the army, but that he knows that they have to stay, which is all well and good. But then he began talking about the president and how the troops are in Iraq doing President Bush's "dirty work." Ummm, well a little news flash for you, the president has made many visits to Iraq to speak with leaders there, trying to make peace. The writer of that blog had also mentioned that the troops are over there for President Bush's "clouded reason." WERE YOU NOT AWAKE DURING SEPTEMBER 11????? Thats why the troops are over there! Those troops are over in Iraq to defend our country from the attacks, to capture the master minds behind the attacks, as well as to get rid of weapons of mass destruction. And guess what, every time that some idiot news reporter talks crap and says "George Bush wants the troops to find these weapons that don't exist." Every time a news reporter says that, a couple of days later, those "nonexistent weapons" are found.
George Bush is not the idiot that everyone likes to believe he is. He is not the bad guy. But every one loves to talk crap about him. Well, I don't.
I support President George Bush, I support the war in Iraq, and I support the troops. If you don't like that, get over it.
President George Bush

Someone is a little misinformed... Maybe turn off Fox News, switch your radio from Rush Limbaugh, and listen to some other perspectives, like the behind the scenes reasons why we are really in Iraq. Saddam Hussein is not responsible for the attacks. In fact, Bush can't even keep a consistent reason going for being in Iraq, except for the "War on Terror" propoganda. There are no weapons of mass destruction, the government is worried about oil supply, and Bush is an idiot. Dick Cheney is not an idiot, he's just an ass, and he is running the country.
Support Bush, fine, but methinks you'll be carrying him all the way into the hole he's dug for himself, and you'll be in there, too.

I don't really follow politics that much, but I do know that people hear what they want to hear. Some people hear that we are in Iraq for gas or for others reasons. When people hear that they get mad... blah.blah. balh. No matter what is going onin the world people are going to be upset. I am not nessicarily a fan of President Bush, but he has done some good things. I think everyone including myself needs to be more informed before we start bashing people and blaming them for something we aren't even sure really happened.
I support the troops, but no way do I support the war. I do support Bush because he did a lot better job than Kerry ever would have done. The troops aren't to blame because they are only doing their jobs. But he still made a very bad decision at a bad time for the U.S, when anger over the attacks clouded our vision to the truth. The only reason we're there now is because we won't get our heads out of our butts and pull out, apparently because if we do, the world will see us as cowardly. (Oh, and for the oil. Can't forget that.)
Well, I have news. We have nuclear warheads all over the place (which, by the way, no one else is allowed to have), not to mention a strong defense. Who cares if we are looked at as cowards? We could still nuke anyone who tried to get us. Not that I advocate it.
There is a time to live, and a time to die. But now it the time to break it down!
I'm very liberal. I don't support war unless the country or it's leader attacks us first. This wasn't the case for the war on terror. Hussein didn't attack us, Osama Bin Laden did (yet we still haven't found him) and actually, there have been no weapons of mass destruction found.
But the point is. We live in America. And we can say what ever we want. I'll get over it if you support Bush. But I don't support Bush, the lives [and future lives] of the troops lost, or the war in Iraq. And if you don't like that, you should get over it too.

Where is my revolution?
I'm over it. I don't see the point in fighting with someone just because they support or are against something that I support or am against. That's a lot of the problems in our country. Everyone gets all bothered and pissed if someone believes differently than them. I don't see the point in being mad about something like that, ya know? Constitution gave us the Freedom of Speech, but if someone voices their opinion, we get mad??? there's something wrong with that. Thank you for not being like the others who tell me I'm wrong about my opinon. Thank you for voicing your opinion. =]
Saddam Hussein treated and abused his people. He gassed the Kurds. He also paid blood money to families of palestinian suicide bombers.
