Hi, all! I just submitted a new campaign idea to Ideablob.com. It's called Stick-It to Inspire. For more information about it, read below. To vote for it, click here.
Stick-It to Inspire is a campaign to boost the self-esteem of young adults in high school. Through the inspirational movement, we will distribute sticky notes with empowering quotes to encourage students to achieve their dreams. We will provide a scholarship and an online leadership training, too.
The Stick-It to Inspire campaign will include distributing sticky notes to approximately 1,500 high school students between the ages of 14-18. The sticky notes will have motivational quotes to encouage students to reach their goals. We also will conduct one-hour sessions with the youth on the importance of a positive self-esteem and goal-setting. An extension of the session will include an online leadership training blog, where students can blog about their issues and gain insight from experts on the topics of self-esteem, body image, leadership, community service, etc. Lastly, we will host a college scholarship essay contest, rewarding the best entry.
We will launch the campaign by purchasing sticky notes printed with inspirational quotes. Funds also will be needed to hire experts to speak at the one-hour sessions and write blog entries for the online leadership training. Lastly, money will be needed for the college scholarships.

That sounds like a neat idea! I hope you are able to put it into action, whether you win at ideablob or not. :-)
