One of my pet peeves:
One of them definitely has to be when people drive with their blinkers on and have no intention of changing lanes. That just frustrates me to no ends... especially if the driver is not even a senior citizen. That's just one of many I assure you. I guess I just have a high expectation of people and their common sensibilities.
what are your pet peeves?

Mine is when people say "you know" or "you know what I mean" at the end or even in the middle of their sentences. That really bugs me, just say what you have to say and I'll let you know if I know where you're coming from.
The blinker thing bugs me too, but I find it funny when someone has their blinker on and there isn't a lane to change to.
I really hate it when older people grab younger people from the chicks. Do you know the gesture?
You mean there are people who actually *use* their blinkers? LOL, I thought I was the only one. I swear, driving around here is scary; this is the first place I've ever lived where people actually just start hitting their brakes on the highways, and I rarely see anyone from the city using their blinkers. The people that do use their blinkers are usually the military men and women from the base, but they aren't usually from here, so I sometimes wonder if it's because wherever they were from actually taught them how to drive, or if the military is just better at enforcing it.

I really hate when people post pointless things online. Thats my pet peeve.
I have many pet peeves, and among them are delusional kids who try to pass their many hang-ups as a proof that the world is indeed not being progressive enough. For example, the other day I read something about reverse discrimination and how it is as wrong as the original discrimination. Seems fair enough? Well, it turned out that the author wrote that because he didn't get the job he wanted, and he thought it was because he was a guy and the one who got the job was a girl. Man, that was really annoying. If you want to rant, just admit it. Don't try to make it look like you're writing for a good cause when you're really writing for yourself.
Just so you know, some people who have their blinkers on don't realize it because the blinker sound doesn't work. I'm jsut saying this because in my mom's '75 corvette, the blinker sound doesn't work, so it's usually difficult to realize whether or not it's on.
Anyway, here are some of my pet peeves:
-Velvet. Random, I know, but the feeling of velvet literally gives me the chills.
-People who swear incessantly just to sound cool or whatever.
-When people chew on their hair.
