I need to kill Jack.
So I decided to start a series of short stories called “Riminesque in Crimson” and I have one character that needs two things, a beginning and an end. The big problem though is he is a little too powerful. His name is Jack (reference to Jack the Ripper) and he is the embodiment of evil. Here are a few key facts about Jack.
1)Jack has crimson eyes. Why Crimson? You may ask, Crimson is the color of blood, and though sadistic is associated with pain and death, thus Jack is pain and death.
2)Jack is something more than human, after the death of his entire family in one fell swoop he went insane and buried himself in all things occult, thus gaining almost eternal life and a thrill for anything sadistic.
3)Jack needs to die, frankly I think the book would do well if the last story was about the death of Jack and I don’t want it to be cliché. I found listening to others and combining ideas help a lot and I believe that is why I made this blog. Jack is here to show us how mad a person can get, and he likes to torture people with themselves. It is a little well… (you might think I’m crazy but I like this idea.
4)Jack is throughout time and I need a period where he can grow up and how he transformed, but I would like to keep all the faiths today out of his story since he plays such a big role in my other short stories about a persons faith and how he crushes it.
5)Jack is not neutral but he does not work for the devil or god, he works because it makes him happy, yet in the end he finds he can’t derive happiness from… something and I haven’t figured out what yer.
In the end this Blog is a question on what you would do with this character, and how you would kill him. This is my little world and I am inviting you to help me build it, any thing would be appreciated.
