I feel the insatiable need to write. About something. Relevant. Hot topic. I read this terrible book about political strategy, and the author mentioned button pressing platforms. To gain attention, talk about the hot topics of daily interest, and develop a platform on these issues. Despite hating the actual book, I thought it was good advice. I might as well follow suit, ya? So many to choose from, which should I pick?
Homosexuality and legalizing gay marriage?
Abortion and pro-choice laws?
Gun control and school shootings?
Smoking and the myth of second-hand smoke?
Is there a God and how can we know?
Hillary or Obama?
Racism and don't hate because I'm white?
Legalization of drugs, and libertarianism 101?
The failures of American government?
Capitalism versus socialism?
Domestic violence and child abuse?
No one cares. I mean, people do care, but some topics are just too overwrought on this site. I've only been on here for a day and I've noticed that. Nor do I want to rant. It'd be so easy to pick a pet topic of mine, get on my soapbox, and rant. But no one cares about what rubs me the wrong way, no one wants to hear me whine.
What are some of the topic you're sick of reading about? Or do you suppose there are topics that never get old? And, what makes a good blog?
