Astorga was sought in the shooting of a Bernalillo County Sheriff's Deputy on March 22.
Recently, Astorga was featured on America's Most Wanted and was also on the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted List.
Little is known about how the arrest happened. The ABQ Trib:
Authorities said Astorga was captured without incident in Juarez, the border town opposite El Paso, but no further details were available
In the preceding weeks, friends and family members have been arrested for aiding Astorga in his flight from the East Mountains to Juarez.
