did you have a teacher who didnt teach the class?
well i had one in seventh grade. he was lazy. He gave us handouts to read then he sat down in front of the class and use the computer. It was so boring! He did not teach us a thing. nothing! at least he passed me with an eighty.
this year i have a teacher who doesnt teach right. is that possible? arent teachers there to teach the students?
i dont know what is wrong with this teacher. She is very forgetful. I dont think this teacher knows how to teach right. She doesnt give us our test results to check our progress. She doesnt tell us what we can do to improve our grade. She doesnt do anything to help the students learn. She gives us a lot of information. but how can i retain all that information a week before the test? that is not right. somebody has to do something about teachers who dont teach. I have been stressing too much in that class. thank god this is my last year of high school!
I know im a senior but that is not the reason to NOT teach the class. This is not right but i cannot fail.
sometimes it gets tough. but i have to resist. i am not the type that gives up easily.

Based on how little teachers are paid, not many qualified applicants are interested, which leaves some less than great teachers in service. Also, after a teacher gets into the system, it's next to impossible to fire them.
Amen!
As someone who was new to the teaching profession this year I am offended by how little new teachers are paid.
Let's make a comparison between teachers and veternarians.
The average salary for a veternarian is $71,990.
The average salary for a teacher is $46,990.
Now I have pets of my own and while I love them very dearly, I'm not sure that they are more important than our nation's children.
Both professions require the same amount of training. (A 4-year degree)
Is there any reason that veternarians are paid $25,000 a year more than teachers?
It takes 6-8 years to become a vet- undergraduate degree plus 4 years of vet school. Vet school is around $150,000 alone, plus the cost of the undergraduate work.
Teachers are still paid very poorly- I made more as a waitress than the average teacher salary in our state. Part of the problem is that Americans would rather have expensive clothes, houses, and cars instead of investing money in education.
