As I was walking down the hall today in school I heard the same phrases I hear every day and I'm not sure why it started to bother me today, but it did. "You're a Jew" "You're a fag" "You're an ass" "You're a whore or slut"
First of all I would like to mention that being Jewish isn't a bad thing, it's not a race, it is nothing to be ashamed of and it shouldn't be used as a hurtful remark. I'm not Jewish, but this still bothers me. I did a report on the Holocaust and how some people don't think it really happened. Well it did. And if it didn't then what happened to the 6 million Jews who died?? They sure as hell didn't all decide to go on vacation together and never come back. It happened. Yes it is hard to believe that one man can make others kill that many people just based on religious beliefs or how they look, but it happened. It is pointless to try to think otherwise. And it is stupid to try to hide that from kids today. I have been in History classes every year of my Jr. High/ High school and the whole, complete, total time spent on the Holocaust was about 3 weeks. Yes, that's right, 3 weeks. Out of 6 years. That is ridiculous. Anyhow, moving on.....
If you are gay, lesbian, or bi it is not something to be used as a bad thing either. You have every right to decide if you wanna be with another man, woman or both. Personally, I am straight. I have bi, gay and lesbian friends. It doesn't bother me. Just don't hit on me and I'll be just fine.
"You're an ass" is not one of the ones that bother me so much. If someone calls you an ass, you probably are.
"You're a whore or a slut" This seems to be the most common one heard as I'm walking down my hallways. It's not your business who others have sex with, unless they are having sex with you. These are getting really old and slightly annoying.

There are a lot of subjects in history that haven't been give the credit they deserve. People are completly closed if they don't believe the Holocaust happened.
Yes, I know. I actually did find stuff about people who didn't believe it happened. That's what the paper was for, proving the Holocaust happened. And as I was doing the paper, the whole time I was thinking "You people are the dumbest people who ever lived."
