Are society is so materialistic. Teenagers today have to have those cool new things. " You have to wear abercombie, hollister, areopostale, or american eagle in order to be cool." Everybody has to have the brand name purses like LV, Gucci, or guess because thats what the famous people wear. Then when a new product comes out people have to buy it. "get your new playstation3." Last week the new playstation came out, PS3. All the electronic stores opened early to sell the ps3. People lined up outside the sotores for over 3 days. The majority of them however only whanted it to sell on ebay. Some one even drove by in a car and shot someone in line because they wanted a ps3. thats rediculous. 103.3 The Edge was giving away ps3's but after everybody that won wanted to sell it online they gave up. They said since our society is so matrialistic, they are going to ruin the last one they had left. People were calling with all sorts of ideas of what to do with it. However they decided to throw it over Niagra Falls, and they did. This monday The Edge threw, the last ps3 they were going to give away, over the falls. They said it was very satisfying. its like really, what has our world come to that we have to shoot people inorder to get a game system. They will just make another one that will be out in 2 years and everybody will want that one too. The things we do for a piece of advanced technology.
