So in one of the comments to a previous post, a fellow blogger brought up the point of local economies.....so now i will discuss this point, since they gave me permission to use it.
okay so, businesses are sending factories and jobs overseas. Big deal. Yeah it is a big deal. they are taking away jobs, which can hurt our economy because then there are fewer people employed and that then increases the unemployment rate which reflects negatively on our economy because there are fewer people with money to buy things which bolsters our economy.
so my point?? keep jobs here, make americans want to work those jobs so that foreign labor isn't used (such as immigrants - illegal or otherwise) or so that jobs aren't outsourced. if americans weren't so demanding, and the cost of living weren't so high, would we have this problem? maybe, but it wouldn't be as severe i don't think. Illegal immigrants are coming here even though we are outsourcing tons of jobs to mexico and other countries. they need to figure out ways to better their own economies instead of coming here and risking their lives. The get paid way less, which is why companies want them to work for them. the companies can make more money by having to pay workers less. they make the profits, but our economy is what suffers.
This goes for things being imported as well. Okay, example: iowa produces tons of corn. imagine people _from iowa_ buying their corn from, say, indiana instead. What would that do to the local farmers? would they be profiting? not at all. they might still profit some, but it would be considerably less than what they could be gaining.
My point is that we should be buying local, helping our local economies grow, and thus helping the national economy grow. this could possibly keep jobs here, and if we weren't such a spoiled nation, we could live on less money, thereby bolstering the economy more, because (theoretically) that might spur people to save money and therefore they would have more money to spend, which helps out the economy as well. the cost of living needs to come down, or people need to stop whining about how the immigrants are taking all our jobs. well, if you'd get up and do some work and take the wages they give you, maybe then those immigrants wouldn't be taking those jobs, and maybe companies wouldn't be downsizing or outsourcing to other countries where labor is cheaper and better for them. ever think about that?

I know exactly what your saying, But our own people are bring them here for the field work. Maybe yall should think about that. We sit around judging everyone else when we are know better than them.We complain how things are here and how bad its become and all this crap, When its just as much our fault as it is theres.We complain about the war and the lost of our loved ones, But we don't stop to think about the mexicans,asians and other races that give up there lifes for this country, now do we? All we do is complain how its taking from the US and the people. Maybe if some of our people would stop complaining and get off there butts and work in the fields and other lame jobs, without alot of pay, we wouldn't have this problem. And I have the right to speak of the field because i have worked there for 2yrs and its not easy and no it doesn't pay great, But it does put food on the table and pay my bills. So no i'm not gonna complain about them because i've seen them work and they do work very hard, more so than some americans i know. and no i'm not even gonna complain about the field because it does pay for my way. And i'm very grateful for what i do have and so should everyone else. Stop putting the blame on illegals and others, For the way Americans are. Americans are the way they are because thats what they chose,Know one made them that way, They chose there own path as we all do. Even if we sent them all back America is still gonna be in need, the economy is still gonna be the same then who are yall gonna blame then huh? Us Americans are always looking to put the blame else where instead of facing the fact that we are just as much to blame here.I'm very proud to be an American i'm just so tired of everyone wanted to blame someone else for America's problems.We had drugs, rape ,murder, gangs and etc, way before this illegal crap came. We just didn't have anyone to blame until now.I don't think we suffer because of illegals or anyone. If we are suffering then its because of us. Our companies are paying less to illegals and making money off of them, so tell me how are we suffering? Where not in poverty here, We just have a bunch of Americans that refuse to work the fields or low paying jobs. Whoes fault is that, The illegals? No I don't think so.Maybe people need to think on that before they push blame on anyone.
