Get Real

Okay to continue the subject I last blogged about I want to express that I am not biased and not blamming mainstream hiphop artists for all women's problems.I mean most of the really graphic stuff is not mainstream and the biggest offenders are women themselves.I mean take Trina for example.  The last thing in the world I would ever want my daughter to do is listen to Trina. She is not an artist she is simply a canvas. She is a picture of most negarive stereotyping that is placed on women. Some may say that she is suppose to symbolise the powerful , empowered woman but I beg to differ. Her lyrics are so degrading not only to herself but to anyone that looks like her.To Ms. Trina I say women have worked too hard to gain the respect and independence that we have so please take it back to the strip club because I don't wanna her it. There ia nothing strong about using sex as a means of anything that she claims to do in her music. I mean to be honest the lesser known Khia is more of an empowered woman,Don't get me wrong she is in no way a postive image of a woman but she has a lot more to say about self respect than Trina ever will... ok now i'm of the topic but yeah at the end of the day we all do as we please it is America hollar!
