Please Read if you are blogging

To all of you bloggers out there who feel it necessary to fill up space with personal information, please be aware that there are people on this web site who are interested in more information than who you are and opinions about your friends or boyfriends. I am not trying to be rude or inconsiderate, however, this is not a personal diary web site. If you feel the need to talk about yourself or your boyfriends, please go to myspace. I am not implying that you should not voice how you feel about certain topics, however, as the scholarship details explain (which I am sure is why most of you are here), the blogs are suppose to involve topics that revolve around current events, progressive values, issues that affect our generation, etc. Again, I am not implying that you should not express your feelings about a topic, however, please keep it relevant and thought provoking. Feel free to even do a little research or cite a web page that inspired you. Above all else, please do not make me feel less intelligent because I wasted five minutes of my life reading a blog that has nothing to do with the above topics.
