Be back in a tick. I have to go beat my wives.

Alright! Wife number four, get in here! It’s your turn for a lashing. Wait a minute…you’re wife number six. Oh well. Just go hop into bed and produce some more children for me.

Having more than one wife is completely acceptable… in the minds of the sick and deranged. I’m appalled that the sort of sordid thing goes on within our borders. It bothers me just as much that the feds have such a hard time finding these places. Although I can’t rightly accuse local, state, and federal police forces of accepting bribes because of a lack of evidence, there is something strange going on when hundreds of people go unaccounted for right under their noses.

Entire sub-civilizations are growing within our borders called polygamist ranches. Places where women have no rights and usually die without ever gaining any. They are forced into marriage at young ages for the use of procreation and sexual abuse. Children aren’t treated much better. I know that local law enforcement personnel aren’t always blessed with exceptional mental acuity but in my own “far-fetched” opinion, in this day and age, giant plots of private property should be subject to state investigation in order to verify land-use purposes. I suppose it isn’t really suspicious that no one is usually seen leaving the property borders. It’s like Wonka’s bloody factory without quizzical green-haired midgets and chocolate river flume rides.

President Bush is “trying” to fight a war on terrorism but what about here in our own country. If large areas of land can harbor isolated communities of maltreated humans brainwashed into thinking abuse is normal, perhaps there are growing terrorist camps as well. This recent “ranch bust” should be a wake-up call alerting our armed civil servants and legislators to find non-intrusive ways to monitor land usage in the Untied States. Homeland Security needs something more useful to do than wiretap every citizen who says, “I hate Bush.” Perhaps they should start by finding and shutting down the polygamist ranches. We all know how good they are at finding terrorists so this should prove to be an easy task for them. Polygamy is immoral and illegal regardless of religious beliefs. Religion can’t shield the faithful from United States law. Under the Constitution and Judiciary system, all are regarded as equal when on trial.

Nice blog. Polygamy is a creepy thing alright, and even more frightening when you realize it's happening in our very own country. I have to question if the women are even aware that they're in a bad situation, or do they believe this is how things are everywhere? In any case, it's bad all around.

Mind Control is Easier Than You Think

Let me ask you this? Would this be as frightening to Americans if it were happening in another country?

I think you should write a blog about why polygamy is immoral to you. I know that there are polygamists that aren't into beating their wives and acting controlling, and I don't see any problem with that as long as all parties are consenting and there is no mental or physical abuse taking place. I would like to read your arguments on the topic.

Ironically, a group of those polygamist prairie dress-wearers lived about 2 miles from me as a child. It was a large, two-story house with about 8 or 9 women and 1-2 men. They were strange, brainwashed, and ignorant to the opportunities of the modern world. They didn't shower/use deodorant regularly, were cheap, and didn't wear makeup, but they did come out and eat in restaurants or shop in grocery stores sometimes. It was definitely strange, but the people in that area-including law enforcement-were so used to their behaviour that they considered it normal and didn't do anything about it.

F*** Religion. Read more here:

Polygamy is immoral for two reasons. Firstly...marriage is reserved for parties of two (people of opposite and same sexes). Secondly, Of course all parties would be consenting...the women are brainwashed into thinking that it's all normal. They usually know nothing of the outside world and U.S. law. They simply live their lives under the thumbs of men who treat them however they see fit. Beating or cuddling...it's not legal nor is it moral to have more than one spouse. Polygamy creates cases of favoritism as was the case in ancient Egypt. It also leaves children to grow up without any knowledge of the world beyond the ranch borders and in some cases, not knowing who their real parents are. It all comes down to brainwashing. There is no need for mind control lasers. Brainwashing is much simpler. Isolate people from modern society and given enough time...the words of leader of the isolated area become laws just like that. Dependency and ignorance are what polygamist ranches are all about.

Now what about what I've just said sounds moral? Nothing.
