This is one of the craziest medical stories I have ever heard about. A man in Ireland used his sons tooth to rebuild an artificial cornea. The article that I read (the link is below) said that this procedure started being done back in the 60’s in Italy . This story is so unique I figured that we would have heard about this “medical miracle” before now. The article goes on to say that it took the repaints son’s tooth, root, and part of his jaw, so that the doctors could rebuild his fathers eye socket. That takes a lot of love, and willingness to give that up, but I would probably do the same for a family member.
It is amazing how far we have he have come in medical techniques and procedures. To think that doctors can use part of a tooth to give someone sight again is truly astonishing. It is also a “medical miracle” that someone even thought of giving someone back their sight, by using a tooth. These types of news stories are my favorite. The ones that tell you interesting facts that aren’t really needed but cool to have a neat to listen to.

I don't even know what to say. That's crazy. I'll have to look more into it before I just come out adn believe it. But if it is true, then that is truely amazing!
