This will be the third time I have tried to make a post about a joke I made last night about politics. The first time, I was trying to spell check and lost my post. The second time, it just dissapeared. I will take that as a sign from the gods and change my topic.
However, I find nothing ironic in our world today except what I tried to write about two times before. Enlighten me people.
I think Progressive U is aganist me. I didn't know a post had to be atleast 200 words. Well anyways, I will take that has a second sign and write for the third time my thoughts on politics.
I love politics because I think there is something very dirty and shady about it. I am all about creating conspiracies (did i spell that right?) The first democratic debate that I saw made me ask, "What the you know what?". None of the candidates seemed to be "normal" candidates who actually have a chance of winning except Obama and Clinton. I thought this can't be right.
Kucinich give it up already. You have great ideas but not enough "BANG!" to keep my attention. Senator from Alaska where did you come from? I thought this can't be right. The Republicans have a good group. McCain who is the man. Romney who everyone likes and Mr. Rudy who everyone loves. Ron Paul was up there for laughs and the Huckabee was up there for moral support.
For the Democrats- A WOMAN AND A BLACK MAN! Do they want Americans to piss their pants? I am not saying this has anything to do with sex or race because it is about time things get mixed up a little. I just didn't think it would be in 2008. Do I here the word shady? Yes. Time will only tell.

Try writing your post in a word processor before using it. If something happens when you go to post it, you won't lose it that way. Sorry it was giving you issues!

I was optimistic early on about either Clinton or Obama having a chance at the Presidency, but now it seems that their popularity coupled with the existing sexism and racism of our country won't allow that to happen. Maybe four years from now....or a hundred...
..Wait...what does this have to do with Alanis Morisette? Isn't she a singer?
I agree slightly. But of course this was bound to happen! I mean it is 2008, i think it's darn right time for something to get mixed up! They may not be my favorite candidates, but I'm glad someone is finally embracing what America stands for!
Though it is inspired by your title. That song irks me. Why? Because nothing in it is ironic. Yes, it sucks to get a fly in your chardonnay, but it is NOT ironic! Grrr.... I'm so glad no one listens to that song anymore. A whole generation of angry young women has now grown up misunderstanding the concept of irony. That sucks! (But it's not ironic...)
