My theory is that bird flu, will cause a big change to the people of this,water filled orb we call earth.
This is what I think will happen if the flu does come to us:
So this is how it is:
1. Bird flu - or any other inflammatory disease - helps prions hijack the immune system, and spread rapidly through the body;
2. Anyone who gets infected but doesn't die will become progressively more debilitated, and eventually, disabled;
3. US bird flu victims will be detained in federal quarantine camps, and readily available for euthanasia - despite the fact that quarantine won't do diddly squat to stop bird flu's spread;
4. There won't be any rich and powerful people in quarantine camps.
Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture?
This actually may be a re-enactment of the Influenza Pandemic of 1918, where milions of people all over the world died...I ask is this pandemic even over yet, or is it slowly returning with a new identity called :Avian Influenza?

Here's what the gov't says. and here's what I expect and/or know to really be happening.
Pandemics have 6 stages - and we're supposedly in a Stage 4 Alert. But I suspect we 've already passed Stage 4, and we're into Stage 5 or even Stage 6.
The gov't was saying that, most bird flu infections are still being spread from animals to humans, and human-to-human transmission is still very rare - Stage 3.But now they are saying,its in Stage 4. Stage 4 has small local clusters of human cases, with limited human-to-human transmission. (Look at Egypt and Indonesia)
Stage 5 has larger clusters, but the clusters are still geographically contained; the pandemic still might be slowed with intervention.
Stage 6 is when human-to-human transmission occurs easily, and the flu really starts to spread. Once Stage 6 starts, interventions are made to limit the pandemic's impact and buy time until a vaccine is developed.
Apparently there is a vaccine but there is only 13,000,000 of them in stock which can only help about half of that 3 because they are given in 2's..
There should be time for people to prepare between Stage 5 grouping and early Stage 6, and the complete pandemic spread that follows.
So If I were you guys, I would prepare for it before it is too late.
