Just received this from Laura at the Citizen Trade Campaign. Looks like an informative site, with ideas on how we can move from "free trade" to "fair trade."

Hi ProgressiveU,
I work with Citizens Trade Campaign and we are actively following the Peru/Andean Free Trade Agreement, among others. Our website is www.citizenstrade.org. We have recently released an action alert encouraging fair trade activists to call their representative to oppose another NAFTA/CAFTA model.

Another good resource in the trade/globaliztion movement is Make Trade Fair. They're online at: http://www.maketradefair.com
We've just launched the first dedicated Fair Trade sports ball company in the US (football, soccer, rugby, volleyball).
We've partnered with our sister companies in the UK, Canada, and Australia to bring attention from international media to this specific product line within the Fair Trade - not Free Trade - movement, and to generate dollars for children's charities (we give away all our after-tax profits).
Hope to see some Progressive U folks on the blog (www.fairtradesports.com) sometime for a visit!
