The one and only Tyra Banks. At the age of 33 years-old, Tyra is one of the best role models out in the world of entertainment. She first made a name for herself as a model, and I have learned recently the she was one of the heaviest models in her agency and in some of her campaigns. She was become a promoter for healthly women, both in the real world and in the world of modeling.Tyra has a successful show called America's Next Top Model, where women compete for the title of 'America's Next Top Model'. She retired for modeling a couple of years ago,and has become a bigger influence on many people's lives. She has done this with her show called The Tyra Show. If you've ever seen the show, you would know that she talks about many current issues such as weight, STDs, fitness, homosexuality, religion, and race. I love her show and her veiws on topics, ofcourse, she still has some episodes about fashion and what looks good on your body type, and how to dress nicely for less. I think she is an example of how a role model should be; she knows that many girls look up to her, so she trys to present herself in a postive way. She is very close to her mother, because her mom has been such a big part of her life, she might not have made it this far without her mother. Tyra also has a camp for young girls called T-Zone. In this camp she helps girls the have low self-confidence and weight problems. She actually goes in and talks to the girls, it's not like the other camps where a famous name is attached to in, but one never meet that famous person. tyra actually takes the time to care about the girls in her camp.
And this is what a role model should be. Tyra is a positive person and is trys to keep a positive image. And this is what girls should strive for. They shouldn't have role models that are in and out of jail, or anorexic, or have a negative image. Role models should be positive people, people that strive to do better in their lives... and that's what Tyra Banks is...a positive role model.

After seeing her show on Witches, I can't take the show seriously. That show was very poorly done. Granted, it could have been worse... but it also could have been a heck of a lot better.
She just comes across as a little over the top to me. I think what she does humanitarian wise is great, don't get me wrong. I just can't get past her over the top excitability.
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss
I love tyra's excitability, i think it makes her real. If she sees something that makes her happy you know about it and she wants everyone else to know about it.
I see myself in Tyra's personality. People are random, energetic they get happy when they like something and unhappy when they don't.
put simply, Tyra=Amazing!
I love America's Next Top Model! If I do get a spare moment to watch TV, I would prefer that show!

I didn't know that she has her own camp. Do you have any links? Is this camp a part of her tv show?
