according to Barron X, who I believe, blacks can choose. It is b/c we (blacks) and people of color have abundant eumaelanin in our skin. Eumelanin exists in the ethereal, phaeomelanin doesn't. the soul is the energy of the melanin type. Whites, in who phaomelanin is abundant, can't go into the ethereal b/c what it takes for the presence of the soul to exist there, doesn't exist there.
