It is funny to me how people (specifically Men) can make an assumption what will be better for women when it comes to abortion. When is the last time a man had an abortion??? How can he know what is right for a woman??? I am Pro-Life for a number of reasons. When I was in the military, I was raped. I thought abortion was the right thing to do so I had an abortion. Now when I do try and get pregnant, I have miscariages (10 so far). The doctors told me that the abortion that was performed on me was a gross act from the so called doctor (it was not a legal abortion). At the time, I thought abortion was abortion. I was misinformed and I did no type of research on the subject nor the location before I had the procedure done. I will probably never be able to have children because of my mistake earlier in life.
Kids, ladies, whoever decides to use abortion need to know all the precautions, side effects, etc... Nowadays, kids who are underage and have sex, don't use condoms because they don't like the way it feels. Too bad. So if the girl gets pregnant, they can always have an abortion. It is easy, it is more cost effective than having the child, and it doesn't go into your medical records depending on where you get the procedure done. It is the easy way out. People need to teach the kids that if they play, they pay.
There are families out there who are unable to have children for a number of reasons so they turn to adoption. Most of the families want a baby, like it was their own. They can teach the baby from the beginning, and families who adopt, most want to go thru all the motions meaning changing diapers, bottle feeding, etc to fully appreciate the act of adoption. Those babies that are having babies can give up their kid for adoption and not kill their baby.

Oh My God, I am so sorry that you are having a hard time having a baby. I am pro-life but I understand where you are coming from on being raped. Teen girls do need to learn the if you play you will pay thing. I mean looking in my group of friend 2 out of 3 of us has had kids. All of us are on some type of birth control. It doesn't seem that bad until you look at all of the statistics. One of my friends has had an abortion and she said she regrets it so much. She said that the abortion was the first time she ever heard her babies heartbeat, and she regrets it. I think abortion should be illegal unless you have been raped or are not mentally or physically capable of having a baby. However i think people should also think of adoption. I don't know Its a scary situation I know. My thoughts are with you and thank you for the entry.
You can have your eggs harvested, inseminated, and then hire a surrogate mother if you want a child with your own genes. Prices are rapidly falling for such procedures, and if you are in Israel, it is done for free.
While it's sad that that has happened to you, it's not a side-effect for all women. Shit happens. It's not an easy way out for all; for some it is a life-style decision.
The system is already overloaded with unwanted children all over the world. Most of them live in orphanages. Most are never adopted. Adoption is also an easy way out. You feel better because you didn't "kill" the fetus, and after it's out of the womb, it's out of your life forever to live somewhere else. No second thoughts. It doesn't matter if that kid is never wanted ever again, at least you did the right thing, eh?
The point is, there are always ups and downs to every decision. While you may not to carry children, you can still have genetic kids with the use of reproductive technology. Or, you can adopt.

This kid has life in its blood, a purpose maybe to even to find the cure for the cancer! Maybe it was an accident but let's face it and give this little kid a chance to do better if you can't!

And as far as your argument about children being unwanted, I would disagree. If you go find a little orphan girl in America and take her aside, and whisper a quick question in her ear; something like "Would you rather not be alive right now?"; I'm sure she will be very upset. That's because she wants herself. She wants to be alive. Regardless of how inconvenient she may be to the adoption system.

Furthermore, there is a big difference between that kid and the fetus: the kid now has a cerebral cortex and medulla oblongata; she is capable of thinking and sustaining her own life on her own, whereas the fetus does not and cannot. For these precise reasons, the fetus does not have any legal rights until the third trimester, and only then is it considered a distinct and viable person. Abortions are rarely done during this time; most occur in the first trimester, when it is sorely lacking in development.
Personally, I don't think I could ever have an abortion, regardless of the situation. I just feel like whether it was immediate or somewhere down the road, I would regret losing a child that was mine. Still, it should be a choice given to all females, especially rape cases. I deeply regret the fact that you're having trouble bearing children as a result of abortion but perhaps adoption or transplanting a fertilized egg would be a good way to go? Best of luck!
I hate abortion I am sorry but i don't believe in it, i think it's wrong to kill little babies even if you are young just have the baby and if u don't want it put it up for adoption and don't kill it, i've seen some narly abortion pictures i'll try to show you guys..
