Growing up your mother, father, or legal guardian puts thoughts in your head about going to college, earn a degree, and make something of yourself. Many people I know that went to college either can’t find a job in the field they went to school for, and if they do, they are paid only a few dollars more than an average paying job. On top of that, many universities and colleges beat around the bush and waste our time. Why aren’t they actually teaching us about the career we’re going to be doing for the rest of our lives, and how to survive in the real world? They’re making us spend more money that we don’t have for unnecessary courses. I’m not saying don’t go to college, college is a fantastic idea. I’m just saying that if you truly feel that college is for you, then be very picky between the ones you are looking at. I’ve picked a spectacular school, called the College of Legal Arts. I’m training to become a Court Reporter making $60,000 if I’m really lazy and more than $100,000 annually if I’m not; they’re hands on, they teach you everything about working in the field, and they are very straight forward. Do what is best for YOU.

I agree. Each person must find the college that is right for them! There is so many choices out there.. technical schools, liberal arts colleges, junior colleges where you can transfer to larger ones in the future. Look at all options and choose what YOU feel is best, not what your parents, friends, or significant other wants. Good luck!
I know sooo many college grads who can't hold jobs. Actually I know a high school grad who kept his first job for only a week. I had to buy the guy a watch, an alarm clock, and a daily planner. Nobody taught the guy responsibility. Yet he knows all about computers from his high school courses. What is he supposed to do - sit at his computer in his cardboard box??
