Who really has the right to tell you if an abortion is right for you? The ONLY person that is capable of telling you if it's right for you... is you!
The views on abortion are usually black and white. Either one believes that it is completely morally wrong, or that it depends on the person, and the circumstances.
I believe that abortion should never be used to advantage. For example, safe sex should always be practiced, and abortion should not be used as back up if one does become pregnant. As you can see, I think that abortion should be used in emergencies only. For example, if a young girl was raped, and happened to become pregnant they should have the right to chose if they want to keep that baby or not. This would be considered an emergency because she did not willingly put herself in that situation, and should not have to live with the consequences.
Now with this in mind, I believe that abortion should never become illegal. I believe if it does become illegal girls will still of course have this operation done upon their body. The only difference is, that the when they have it done, it won’t be safe for them. I can see now, a newspaper headline stating, “Young girl murdered by attempt of abortion from a medal hanger”. If you were the parent of that teen girl won’t you be horrified? I know I would, even if I wasn’t the parent of her.
Now, you can clearly see how I view abortion!
