I understand that people are going to be disagreeing with my view points and I couldn't care less. I strongly believe that gay marriage should never be made legal.
I am not hating on the those of the gay community in this country, but simply statting that God created marriage as a union between one man and one woman. I think that it's a lifestlye CHOICE and not biological or whatever the culture is spuing out today.
There is clear, and thank you Captain Obvious, and obvious evidence that there is sin in this world and homosexuality is one of them. It is as equal of any other sin as swearing, cheating, or murder. All human kind stuggles with that one particular sin that rises to be a greater struggle than the rest. hoose to fight against it or go for it, that's a personal choise; hence being gay is a personal choice.
I understand that there are many Christians who struggle with homosexuality and know that with prayer and petition God will give you strength to endure that temptation.
As for this country of America, I can't believe that we have deterioritated into what we have become today. From the Godly foundings of our Found Fathers to wardrobe malfunctions and housewives being so depserate for something that they throw themselves at any guy that breaths!! Its gross.
All I'm saying is that yes, there is some good left in this world, but what are we Christians doing by not standing up for what we know and believe to be right?! That JESUS CHRIST is KING!! There are no questions about it.
CS Lewis once said something along the lines of not matter how much you look at it, Chrsitiantiy is always going to be a relavant thing in culture. Well no duh because typically when something is ture, people deny to indentify with it becuase the lies of the world have inflintrated so deep that ntohing can be heard. And what is heard is corrupted by Screwtape and his uncle (CS Lewis' Screwtape letters).
Thus, back me up if you believe in anything I have stated above, that way one small step at a time, we will stand up for the ONE who did so much more.

OK I will come right out and say it. That is your opinion ONLY. If you want my opinion there is no God and therefore your arguement is null and void. We are an accident of evolution.
There are many christians out there that are so insecure that they have an overwhelming desire to think they are special by inventing an invisible friend that made them in his image. I don't impose my insecurities on your life (you are free to be and believe what you want) so don't inflict your insecurities on my life (I chose not to believe in God and I chose to live my life true to what I believe) Oh and if you believe that homosexuality is a choice then I will state most emphatically (and with a hell of a lot more evidence than you have) that not believing in your fictional character called god is a REAL choice.
I will love who I want to love. I will live as I wish. I will not answer to your God (now or ever, including after death). I will defy all attempts to make me conform to your warped idiology as vehemently as I will fight for your right to believe it.
After having said all that, have a nice day :)

Those who know everything have learned little from life.
God didn't create anything. On top of that he is not a US citizen and he doesn't get a vote it what is legal or not.
God may decide what is morally permissable for you, but he doesn't decide for me or plenty of other people. I have no problem with you following God, but what grounds do you have to enforce God's will on those who don't accept his authority, or even his existence?
Bottom line, your religious beliefs hold no legal sway at all. God is not a supreme court justice, and he isn't an elected official. According to the laws of this country he is a foreign power with no special legal standing.
When speaking of the law, neither God, nor the Bible, are viable sources for legal prescedence.
Res ipsa loquitur.
memor mori, mahalo.
"According to the laws of this country he is a foreign power with no special legal standing."
ROFL, I must remember that for future use! Love your work!

Wow...I've NEVER heard that one before. *rolls eyes*

We could tell your opinion by reading your blog's title. The question is whether or not you can defend your position in a rational way.

Have you ever read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? Whether you like it or not, our Law does not permit religious establishments. As such, your objection is noted and dismissed as constitutionally irrelevant.

it's really a matter of belief...
There should be such a thing as seperation of church and state. I hate the fact that homosexuals are brought down by laws that are founded on a religious belief that may not be their own. I would feel the same if there was legal action brought upon you that would interfere with your beliefs. A religious institution should be given the right to marry whom they see fit, but our government should not. As citizens everyone should be given equal protection and equal rights.
Ok, so I am a straight christian, but I also support gay marriage. I dont think that people should be able to deny two people that love each other of being married. And I also disagree that they are gay by choice. I am friends with a lot of people that are gay that would do anything to be straight, they feel like being gay is a burden. I hate how ignorant people can make other people feel like crap. Its not their fault and I dont think that they should have to go through all of the stuff they do. I respect your opinions, but at the same time I respect any one that is gay and has to deal with all the emotional pain that they are forced to go through on daily basis.
You have a point with the tittle but the gays will always be gay and they won't change cuz some people say its not right.
About the comment up there ^^ My friend did that sorry guys!
