Hi, are there any mothers out there like me that is raising a child and in college? It is not easy right? Well that is me, I am 28 years old I have been married for 5 years and I have a teenage daughter. I know some of you say you are to young for a teenager, true indeed. Now let me tell you my story. I got pregnant at the age of 14 years old, I had my daughter at 15. I dropped out of School to take care of her. I went back to get my GED at the age of 27, yes 27 years old. That is a long time right? I know. After getting my GED I said well I should not stop here, I mind as well had not got the GED if I am not going to attend College. That is what I did. I thought the process would be hard but it was easy I filled out the financial Aid, and applied for the school and now I am a Psychology major. I want to hear your story of victory and how you conquered what you thought you could not do after having kids. Whether it's losing weight, getting married whatever your victory is I want to hear it.

I actually named her that. I have two kids. I grew up in a surpressive home and the only way I could get away, have freedom and suceed was to join the military, even though they said I was to weak to pass basic training. I tried college before and did really bad since I had work for every penny and help the supressors with everything too. My fisrt base I found my now husband.
I am twenty eight, been married for five years, have a five year old and nearly two year old and this time college is a breeze (so far)
Stick with it and study, you will do fine. 13 is old enough to help out!! I am proud of you.
