First off, I would like to extend my condolences to all victims, and the families of victims of 911. This blog in no way is an assault on your loss, but a concerned questionaire for those who consider themselves PATRIOTS.
First watch a few videos that have gone upon blind "eyes", and deaf "ears".
When Greta Runs out of things to say it is classic.
Is what Rev Jeremiah Wright said really so wrong? Although the media has overblown, and cut and pasted their way into controversy, I feel that the American public can step back into the third person (as did Rev. Wright) and realize that the freedoms and luxuries we have are sometimes at the expense of other countries, races, etc.
America's chickens have come home to roost. Even if you are not a follower of the Bible, the idea of Karma, or a circle of life says, "You get what you put out." America has been notorious for using terrorist tactics to instill fear in enemies and to keep order umong their own. Was it really that surprising that people who are sworn enemies of the western world would not use these very actions by America as fuel to their fundamental movement? Why is it that only those who do not completely benefit from the American structure see the previous "bad acts" of America as a whole?
Maybe having a "minority" president is the ONLY answer to this "selective memory" sindrome plagueing American socialities/high society.
Isn't it our RESPONSIBILITY as American citizens to point out flaws in our system in an effort to change them for the better. Isnt that what should be debated on these News/pundit shows? The debate to either remove America's name from the "Imperial Cup" or be prepared for more direct attacks against our mainland.
Is questioning America's Imperial stance "anti-American", and if it is then I am Bin-Ladin himself.

I wouldn't say that anyone got what they deserved, since no one deserves that sort of thing, nations included. I would say, however, that it is no surprise and that the total demonization of our enemies, who were retaliating against our meddling in the region, is hypocritical.

I can somewhat agree. The title is more used to grab attention

Scenario. Why justify terrorism?
Everyone deserves it. What would you do if I stole your wallet?

Violence begets violence. You get what you put out.
America has unknowingly to many unleashed some of these same terror tactics being levied against the western world today, on western enemies in the past and PRESENT.
I was using the title to grab your attention, but I am saying that the actions shown by US and NATO troops are of WAR, not freedom, or democracy, but WAR. Why wouldn't Americas enemies bring WAR back.
What America must do is look into itself and realize that all the luxury and power, and EASE, as pastor Wright put it, is the direct result of the desimation of the NATIVE AMERICAN people first, then the degradation of the AFRICAN people, and now since World War II we have continuously infiltrated the Middle-Eastern governments to suit our own needs.
If we are really the nation Under God, we need to BEGIN the peace, not react to it. We must rid ourselfs of the stench of imperialism, and ONLY then will we NOT DESERVE
retaliation.

The decimation of Native Americans, or the degradation of African-Americans is no reason for Reverend Wright's anti-Hillary speech to be given in church, or to call Italians "Garlic-noses," or to call Israel a "dirty word."
instead of taking misguided cut and paste quotes maybe you should listen to the entire message......
and for political smearing in church, maybe you should read my blog on a Hillary Clinton supporter and social insider named James Manning. His words are much more inflamatory than anything Rev. Wright has said.
