Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty has come up with an explanation for the published photos that showed him allegedly injecting heroin into an unconscious girl.
The pictures have now been dubbed as a PR stunt after Doherty revealed that he has been compiling a series of blood paintings. He is planning to showcase and sell them at a London gallery. They will sell for around 1,000 pounds each.
He claims the girl had volunteered her blood for his use; he also used his own, and some from his literary publicist.
Paul Roundhill was quoted saying 'Blood paintings are something he has done for a long time.' and that Pete 'has become very good at using the syringe'.
Ok, I knew this guy was weird, but come on. Someone stop these celebrities. This is so weird and gross. No one normal is going to want to buy paintings of blood.
