Teen Pregnancy

So, my mom and dad informed me yesterday, while we were visiting with our neighbors, that there was a group of female teenagers who all made a pact to become pregnant before the age of 16. This blog entry is similar to one of my previous ones, titled "Sleezy Latinas", but the only difference is, from what my mom informed me of, the girls were cacausian. It just suprises me more than anything that these young girls are doing this across our nation; in fact, one of the girls slept with a homeless man from off of the street. It saddens me how desperate these girls were. Their excuse was that they all wanted to have children together, with in their little clique. Is it not possible that these girls couldn't wait? I mean, if they're all SUCH good friends, why not just wait together, and stay friends for a long time? Friends do that ALL of the time. My mom's best friend is a friend she's been talking to since her sophomore year of high school, so all girls should realize that if this is going to be their excuse, that it's not valid. Instead of making a pact to lose your virginity (and dignity, which would go along with that), why not make a pact to stay abstinent, and stick together through thick and thin as friends? Young females should be faster in wanting to stay together, for the better.
