Anyone can know something. We can [all] learn and accept that E=mc^2, but it takes a real person with a real mind and a real heart to think up ideas. There is something far superior in the structure of a dream, fantasy story, or imaginary character than there is in anything you can find in reality. With reality there are guidelines. You have something that can look you in the face and either physically, mentally, or just plain obvious say "Hey! I am [here]!" But imagination is limitless! There are no rules, which in itself can be scary and hard, but those who imagine and think outside of the box will, no doubt, become great either in the eyes of their immediate peers, their local town or city or state, nationally in their country, or even world renowned! Think of Walt Disney, Albert Einstein, your favorite author, Sophocles, Aristotle, Thomas Jefferson! They didn't become well known for following the rules of reality and sticking to what they KNEW already. They are recognized because they shed new light and brought ideas to the world- then put them to action! Remember that you can make a difference. Remember that IMAGINATION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN KNOWLEDGE.
Imagination is more important than knowledge

I agree with your overall message- in fact, the quote you used as the title is one of my favorites. It would be helpful, though, if you listed specific examples of immagination being more important than knowledge. I know you listed off some names, but you could go more indepth and tell exactly how those people were so creative and immaginative.

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.”
