Who cares if we torture them

Oh no, the US is torturing people again. It's sad that we get so upset when one foreign guy gets tortured when hundreds of Americans are getting tortured over there. Of course the leaders of the countries we're at war against are crying about it, they don't want Americans to support the war. They don't care about torture, though, they care about us torturing people. It seems that American soldiers get criticized for making a man stand naked while our soldiers are being physically tortured and killed. No one says anything about that. Torture is wrong no matter who you are, but if you're going to torture us, we should torture you as well.

I think the point is that we are suppose to be above that kind of behavior. Besides most of those people were being abused in Guantanamo Bay have yet to be charged with anything! Yes there are some Americans being tortured and thats horrible but I think your numbers could be a little high. How many prisoners are their suppose to be?

I agree that torture is not that big of a deal. I think that people that are known to have information should be punished however is necessary until they figure out that we really don't care about them. We are way too nice!!!

I think my opinion can be best summed up in this quote:

Logan (Chris Noth): Hey, they (criminals) don’t play by the rules, why should we?
Stone (Michael Moriarty): Because that’s our job.

(Law & Order, ep. 1.15)
