Today's world has changed and stayed the same all at the same time. we are angered over Iraq and at the same time we act like it was never there to begin with. If you ask most people today they will tell you they are irritated with the state of things in Iraq. Only a few months ago there was nothing on the news but reports coming out of Iraq. Now there is almost nothing but small commentary. Some people have used the term, war fatigue to describe this. But if that is true then how do you think the soldiers over there feel. We cannot turn a blind eye to this issue, we need to make it at the front of the pool of problems we face, for our own sake and that of the men and women we have over there. A friend of mine was in the first Iraq war and had very little to say about this war except this, that is no place to keep an army. She is right, the region needs to find its identity on its own not the with barrrel of a gun in its mouth. If we do not press this with the people who can change things than a change not happening is just as much our fault as it is theirs.

Very interesting post. Good points and forum topics.
