For those of you who may or may not have read my biography, You may realize that I've always had a realization that the world isn't fair. You can be the nicest person in the world, and never gain from it. Right? Wrong!!! I can guarantee you that even though the world may seem an unfair place, though it may seem that the only reason you've been set onto this planet is to be tortured, it's not! Look around you... no, I mean it right now, take a second and look around you. Can you honestly say that there are not people somewhere near that you could talk to? Can you honestly say that you have nothing left? Well, obviously not, because there is a computer screen right in front of you.
The hardest thing for people to realize today, I think, particularly today in our generation of two extremes (apathy, or self-pity), is that the world doesn't revolve around you. So why on earth would it take the time to pick on you and only you? It certainly isn't out to get you. I guess what I"m trying to say, and perhaps I'm not doing so hot, is that it will take time to get what you deserve sometimes, But somehow, nature will bring it to you eventually. Karma is a powerful source, so, hang in there kitty! ;)
Life isn't always fair

With all due respect, I think you're crazy. Life is not fair. That's an absolute truth right there. While I know you're absolutely right there are always people to turn to and talk to, and self-pity is a poison (I learned that lesson the hard way), ultimately, life is not fair. Life is good, and life is worth it, but life isn't completely fair.
Often, the good die young, hard knocks come, bad things happen, and this will keep happening. It is only in eternity that there will be true justice and fairness.
the ying and the yang....There will never be any absolutes in the world. For everything "GOOD" that supposedly happens there are negative consequenses "BAD". and for everything "BAD" that happens there are positives "GOOD" that come out of it.
When people say "Life isn't fair" they aren't (usually) suggesting that the world is against them. They are simply saying that bad things can and will happen to them. It's a fact of life.
But also, it should be mentioned that life isn't fair for anyone. We've all got our own sob story, just some of us are louder when we tell it.
I love the way you put that, I can see why people may say that life is unfair. It's true that the good has to be taken with the bad, but if that isn't fair, giving to get, taking to give, then I don't know what is really fair.
Never let the world get you further down, it already has the weight of gravity on your shoulders.
