All in favor of gun control??? My thought is that 1) guns are too easy to obtain 2) people in ownership of guns do not properly lock them away making it easier for children, young adults to get a hold of them. How hard is it to take the bullets out of the gun before stowing it away? Locking them in a child safe cabinet and hiding the key in a different spot every so often so nobody who shouldn’t know where the key is..finds it? Getting ownership of a gun should be a lengthy process equipped with extensive background checks and mental records. People should be locking away their guns EMPTY where others in the household have easy access. Why does the government not step in though? Columbine, Amish school shooting, Virginia Tech, Northern Illinois University, a kid shooting his principle a year ago... could any of these been stopped if gun control issues were a little bit tighter?? Maybe not all of them, no, but at least one? two? Aside from school shootings what about big cities, Detroit, Saginaw, Flint, St. Louis....drivebys? gang related shootings, hate crimes, etc. When is enough enough?? Of course people will complain about their "freedoms" but why do you need them so loosely when people do not take care of them as it is? Freedom is a privilege NOT a right. Therefore it must be earned.

I agree with your statements on gun control.
I mean when it's easy enough for a 14 year to buy a gun then there's a problem.
This particularly is the case in the south.

no control what so ever for guns in the south??
