The Miracle of Life and Living It

Entering the world, I was 7 pounds and ounces. I was born on April 25th 1989. Three days before, The Bionic Showdown premiered in theatres and, The Security and Exchange commission filed for security fraud on Drexel, Burnham, and Lambert. My parents are Charles and Sharmagne Taylor. My mother was told that, I was a girl at 3:33 am at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. My parents work in two completely different fields of work. My mother works in the hotel/hospitality industry, and my father works in the petroleum and gas industry. They both cater to people, my mother by serving the hotel as manager and my father distributing natural gas through the pipeline to homes and businesses. My parent chose to have 2 children. My brother and I are four years in age apart, I am older than him.
I was always interested in being the boss or someone to look up to. I had aspirations of starting my own business at a young age. I started my first business around six; I decided to sell Pokemon cards. You used to be able to find them anywhere. From ages seven to ten. I experimented with hanging out with boys. I grew up in a neighborhood with no girls in sight. I played with the boys, whether it was football, wrestling, or riding bikes. At age eleven, I started to break away from the boys. I went to public school and they went to private school. So, I had to establish a relationship with some people at my school. I joined lots of clubs and organizations to keep myself busy. I was in theatre; I participated in every aspect from behind the scenes t on-stage action. I loved it; outside of school I read lots of books and watched some of my favorite shows.
School was great; everything seemed to be falling in place. I was on top of the world. I loved cooking, drawing, writing poetry, and playing and watching football. I hated math, olives, and going out with people I didn’t know. I held officer positions in school both in theatre and speech and debate. That made me feel closer to being a boss.
My biggest addiction at the time was Instant messenger. I was online every day and night whenever I had spare time. I used to leave the computer logged on so, when I got home I wouldn’t have to wait for it to load. I got too many viruses on my computer so, I gave up the habit.
I have had 3 life-changing events in my lifetime so far. I moved into my own room and was happy to have my personal space. My grandfather was diagnosed with colon cancer, he was given a time-period to live. I panicked and, I have grown to appreciate the time with him more from that. I was diagnosed with a tumor on top of my ovary. I was told I couldn’t attend school and that it was a chance I had cancer. Eighteen years old and I had to go under the knife to remove the tumor and my left ovary. I have the scars and marks to prove it. Reading helped me through, I love reading educational and romance novels both inspire me to live my life to the fullest.
That’s where I started and from and to the top is where I’m going. I’m getting my education and that’s the first step to my own radio and television station. I would love to be able to say, I’ve learned from others and was never afraid to be myself. I know my story and I am happy with it.

You really know what you want in lie and what makes you happy. You made some great life changes like learning that the time you have with your grandfather was limited.

I have been trying to live my life to the fullest, but sometimes I get caught up in everything else. Thank you for showing me some inspiration.
