Come in, talk to co-worker discusse lastest patient intake, listen to boss whinning about schedule. Put patient in room, smile and baret, highlight patient under treated, code patient into computer. Work on schedule, make some calls, put another patient in room, smile and baret, work on schedule, highlight patient, print out tomorrows schedule, print out daysheet, organize rooms, lock doors set alarm, go home. The wonderously boring life of a receptionist all routine, all day, every day. Yet, here i am working as a receptionist. As the days go by the smell of doctors office entices your senses to the point of the realization that you can't smell it anymore. The day by day check by check lifestyle that makes you want to become something in life just so you don't have to demean your intelligence any longer. The constant nagging from your superiors about schedules and phone calls drives you to the point of insanity. YOU CAN'T FORCE PEOPLE TO APPOINTMENT!!!! The sacrifice of your social life and free time. In the end it'll be worth it. With good pay, saving money will be easy and your life will be easier because you wont have to struggle for money to pay for school ( even though you will anyway but it still helps a lot). Patients is key.
