Ever experienced betrayal? Trust is the most important thing to a person. People do anything and everything to gain the trust and prevent betrayal. Being materialistic is setting you up for betrayal. Because just as fast as you got your material it can be taken away! This world is all about what you do for me. What am I going to get? The majority of the time you get little or nothing in return for your hard work. And the greatest thing you lose that way is time! Because we are all out for getting the most out of life, tricking, betraying, and deceiving for our own benefit. Then you get where you want and then what? You’re not happy! Your money, Bentley, mansion, or diamonds can’t make you happy. Those things won’t make you feel better about how you have spent your life or your time. I call this obsession an obsession with material jargon. It could also be called GREED, ENVY, and CUNNING!!!
Trying to be like everyone else, you left your dreams, happiness, and aspirations behind. To get material that you don’t need and that could be gone in a second. Look at history, what usually to a star when they think money can buy and fix everything. They get either put behind bars in jail, behind the glass in rehab, or their mug shot posted on TMZ.com. They think that because, their money that people will treat them differently instead, of saying that was wrong! But, when you get caught up in material jargon, it leads to your downfall. When these same stars were on top of the world walking down the red carpet, everyone is loves, admires, and wants to be them. When something is wrong then, everyone is happy to be themselves. We forget that all of us are equal and capable of mistakes, and betrayal. All it takes one mistake that one person witnesses, and it all hits the fan! The question that I ask you is are you going to get caught in Material Jargon, or stay true to yourself?
