Art is the fruit in life. Without art, there is no beauty. Areas of art inculde music, the theatre (yes, even movies and TV shows), writing, photography, and of course the infamous visual art. Visual art can be anything from painting, scutpture, drawing, digital art, and other things. So why is the world showing little compassion about something that is so very important. I heard that in some cities, my home city Hendersonville, NC for instance, will take all of the arts out of the elementary schools. Well, that will hardly inspire children to do the arts in middle school. I think that athletics should leave before the arts do. The arts inspire sophistication and all that a sport inspires is good health. I do not apprecaite the fact that the school board members care so little about one of the most important things in a young person's life! I mean, art is so important for everyone. It inspires creativity. It inspires thought. It inspires a love for things that people enjoy. I love art, theatre, writing, and music. I play the violin, viola, and the piano. I write poetry, stories, and screen plays. I do all types of visual art and I act. These things are so important to me and to a lot of other people around the world. Just imagine a world wothout art. It would be boring. There would be no music. There would be no television. The world would be colorless with the exception of nature. There would be no folk tales or plays to entertain anyone. The world would be without entertainment. Honestly, you know it would suck. There would be no beauty in life!

Some other abstract things are considered art as well, like science and invention.

Mind Control is Easier Than You Think
I think it's a shame that schools are dropping art education. Artistic depiction is a record of how we humans perceive the world. I am a musician and, though I've slacked off, was also very much into drawing and sketching. Artistic expression comes from a totally different part of the brain than the thinking. logical, scientific part.
I don't think that sports or physical education should come before art. It is important to be of sound body and mind. They are as equally essential as academics in school.
