Contact Lenses

Tagged:

While I spent Thanksgiving with my cousins, we brought up something about wearing contact lenses and I said that I would never wear contact lenses because I didn't like the idea of having to dig them out of the back of my eye because I thought it would be dangerous; but, my cousins told me that contact lenses don't do that. But if contact lenses don't go in the back of your eye, then why do I hear some people say that they have to dig their contacts out of the back of their eye?

its impossible for contact lenses to go in the back of your eyes because their is tissue that surrounds the eye preventing anything from getting behind there. Soo, obviously people are exaggerating when they say this--lenses can get off-centered and feel like they are back in your eye, but its impossible

yeah jaybudge is right, it is impossible and i'm sure we all know how folks like to exagerate or "make a mountain out of a mole hill"

I was afraid of getting my contacts out of my eyes when I first got them, but you get used to them and they aren't that bad after a while. I wouldn't even let my eye doctor dialate my eyes before I got contacts, I'd always opt for the retinal pictures. Contacts aren't bad at all and really keep your vision from growing worse. Sure, they can get off centered, especially if you fall asleep in them, but they can't go into the back of your eye. How would you get them out?

I think there are alot of horror story, but I think you will be fine if you take care of your lenses and take them out when you are sleeping.
