Raging Blazes Tire CA Firefighters
Forest fires have been taking over the past week or so in Southern California. Fifteen blazes have destroyed more than 1,500 homes. Firefighters there are limited to resources and men/women to battle these smoldering flames. Exhausted firefighters are replacing other exhausted firefighters. Calipatria fire chief Chris Hall worked 35hours straight on battling the Lake Arrowhead fires with only a few hours sleep/rest. And then went back out for another go at it. I think they should ship some more firefighter companies over there to help and let the guys who have been going at it none stop to have a break. I hope California gets some past needed rainfall to put out the flames.

This is my summary and thoughts of an articles I found. It's a good way of keeping up with what is going on in the world.

I would suggest reading other sources as well... I'm pretty sure that the fires are over as of now. My future brother in law is stationed in San Diego and he said they're done with there. As for the firefighters, I live in N. California, 10 hrs. away from where the fires were, and they were sending a majority of our firemen and equipment down there to help out-as was the rest of California. In that region right now it doesn't rain normally- there are these horrible, hot, dry winds called the Santa Ana winds, which is what made the fires so bad and hard to control.
Yes, I know that. My article is dated below my summary as Wednesday, October 24, 2007.

Ok, understandable, but what about putting that in your summary? You kinda just left it like they're still going on and that no one was going to the aid of the s. California firefighters. If you're doing this to keep up with what's going on in the world, posting the rest of the story would be helpful. Otherwise, it's kinda like the news station-you hear about it once, and never again unless you're in that area, and you're left hanging.
The summary is dated that...meaning that I finished writing the summary on that day. I have my summaries in order on my computer as to the day I type them. And then I post them in order in my blog. I myself didn't really know that the fires were done with. I hadn't seen any stories about it recently or if so I must of missed them while scanning for other newer stories. Yeah so I guess I'm one of those that is "left hanging" since I'm on the complete opposite side of the country from where the fires were.
