God, Life, Society, and Feelings

are we alive? i know that sounds stupid but are we? can we prove that we are alive. of course there'll be some know-it-all that'll tell me. "duh. one shot to the head should prove that you were alive." what i mean though is. couldnt it be that all our life is just imagined. it could be made up. some where we exist as forms or (going back to the other day) floating souls. our entire life could be made up. we create our own characters, plots and so on. can we prove that we exist? what if when we are "awake" we are actually dreaming. what if what you are reading was never made other than in our (your and my) imagination?

if we really do exist and there was some way to prove or explain that: how can we prove that everything around us exists? yes. we can see, touch, smell, hear, and taste it but that could be made up, or? i know that this is very far fetched but it makes one think or? it's like the answer to life. except we dont have it. and may never have it.

next subject:
forget about what i just said about existing. this is a question about god. god (if it (i say it because saying he would mean that god would be life like, or something mortal that can be given a gender.) does exist) should be omnipotent right? it should be able to do anything. that though would also include looking into the future. if it were to look into the future though it wouldnt be omnipotent anymore though. it would mean that the future was already decided. it wouldnt be omnipotent anymore.
that again leads me into another subject:
do we have free will? do we make our own decisions? it's easy to say yes but think about it.
take scenario 1 for example. you believe in god.
if you believe in god then it has some sort of control over you right? god is if not anything more: a guide. you want to do things so you dont go to hell right? so your influenced. your free will is gone.
take scenario 2 though: you dont believe in god.
both temptation and jealousy are human faults. they both influence, and there is no one that can honestly say that they havent been tempted or jealous. ever. if they influence though that means that you free will just went out the window... right?

anyway. ive been wanting to write this for quite a while but i decided to put it a couple of pages down so that only the people that really care about what i have to say will read this. i figure thatif you read this far you do care or youhave nothing better to do. that again would be ok too since thats when i think about these kinds of things and maybe you can follow.

Life and God
what is the point of life?
to die?
does it really make any difference who we were when we die? if you believe in god then everyone is forgiven right? so it doesnt matter. if you dont then everything ends in nothing. so it doesnt matter. right?
who's to say that we lead good or bad lives? the only being allowed to say such things would be god.
the problem i have with the idea of god is this:
people give it human characteristics. you say "Him". who says that god can be given a gender? did god ever live? i assume you will say no but then how can god be masculine? of course i am a "facts person". the word faith means very little to me so prove to me that there is god. i would like to believe that there is a being that is always watching over me but has there ever been any evidence? (the fact that people say that they have met god in prayer is not proof. i mean something that you can show me or let me hold that clearly proves that god exists.
why cant everyone be happy knowing that when they leave this life they are done. finished. no more worry. no more stress. eternal nothingness but you wont know it because you arent you anymore. you see. that can be proven. there is no soul that comes out of your body when you flat line. when you stop breathing there is no opening in the sky or the ground and there is no god or satan taking the "spiritual you". you cant see it. can feel or taste it. cant hear it or smell it. you cant measure it. there is nothing there and thats proof.
now. like i said. prove me wrong and ill be happy to listen to your argument. again. i would like to be able to know that there is god. but i cant.
my next problem with the concept of god is that you seem to be confident that you know what he wants. what if you dont. what if our thinking has become so corrupt that we have accepted it as good. over hundreds and hundreds of years humanity has slowly declined and become more and more immoral. how can anyone possibly say that they know what god wants?! if god exists then it is perfect. are humans? no. if god exists it is omnipotent. are humans? no. so then how can anyone possibly say that they know what god wants you to do?! god may want you to do something that seems wrong to you but how can you judge god?! you arent perfect nor omnipotent or even anything close to what god (if it does exist) is.

again lets assume that god exists.
if god exists then so must satan.
could it be that satan has already won? god has lost and with him so have we?
i mentioned in my last journal that: what if we have become so corrupt that what we think is right is acctualy wrong. what if the devil himself led us here?
then we'd have to ask ourselves this though.
were going to hell no matter what. should we fight back with no real chance of winning it or enjoy life until our eternal suffering?...if we fight back though who will we fight. satanists? other cults that seem wrong to th majority of society. again though; how can we be so sure that we're doing the right thing and that their thinking is so wrong and evil? correct me if i'm wrong but cults and sects havent done anything that christian religions havent done before. right? if you did something against the church. excommunication. if you were different. witch hunts. if you believed in another religion. crusades. christianity has tried forcing its self upon others. it's no different from cults today. now i know not every one in a cult is in this situation but, some people were brought up in one. they dont know any different. just like you have always believed your beliefs of god. they were brought up to believe what they believe now. but back to the right from wrong. give me one thing that is proof that you believe in the real god. how can you be sure that your religion is more true than any other.
if we'll just say satan for a representation of evil; whatever side that may be, is it impossible to think that satan has managed to corrupt mankind to the point that we have gotten things totally backwards? is it impossible to think that, maybe, the majority of humans believe in the devil while they think they believe in god? what if there is one tiny sect that society has claimed to be intolerable. for all i care even 'satanists'. what if they are the real "followers"? i know that's a real stretch of the imagination and for this to even be possible in the farthest sense god would have to exist in the first place but, even if you may not want to admit it to yourself even, it could be possible, right? im not even asking to think about this in practice. but in theory. it's just as possible as anything else that can't be proven but is only believed in.

Society
what is society coming to? i had just finished watching a movie when i realized that the "hero" was a criminal. the fact that he was a criminal is not just another of my twisted screwed up whatever you want to call it thoughts. he was portrayed as a criminal. in the end of the story however he becomes the hero only because he fixes the mistake he had made and dragged his partner and daughter into. im sick of this. the word morality has lost its definition in the western (america and europe) counties. we are entertained by other peoples suffering. we mock the ones who are disabled or hindered from leading a "normal" life. of course you may automatically remind yourself that you have done neither of the two but i seriously doubt that you have never called some one retarded. I seriously doubt that you have never said: oh well thats gay.

Feelings and Society

everything that people pay so much attention to. is it really that important?
feelings for example. are they real? are they figments of our imagination to replace the dull reality? are feelings only there to rule our lives. love for example. love can't be defined. or shouldnt. but do we only love to keep man kind going? we need to reproduce to keep humanity alive and with out love we'd all just be whores fucking to reproduce. with the excuse of love we have a reason. all of a sudden it becomes passionate.
hate could be imagined for the same purpose. it's a rather pessimistic view of humanity but kind of makes sense doesnt it?
