Involvement

Well, lately I've felt like I've been getting a lot more involved in the world around me.

I'm always involved in the school musical thing, but I'm never involved in anything else.

Well, this year's been different. I've been doing cartoons for our school newspaper. A friend of mine, Kate and I, and possibly another friend, Shannon, are going to do our school's gong show. We're going to do the evolution of dance. If you haven't seen the youtube video for evolution of dance, you very much should. It's awesome.

In December, I joined East Stroudsburg University's Concert Choir for their Christmas concert.

I feel much more involved in what's going on around me. I'm going to register to vote soon. I'm going to get my license.

I've got a lot going on for me this year. I realize this isn't involvement on a huge scale, but everyone's gotta start somewhere. And you usually start small. I've grown a lot as a person in the last year or so. I've whined less than I used to (despite what some may think), I cook for myself, I clean for myself, I do a lot more than I used to for myself, and for others.

I've been doing my homework as well. I used to sluff it off, and lately I've done all but two of my assignments.

I feel I've been COMPLETELY progressive as of late. I feel good about myself for once in a long time.
