Soliders of America

Tagged:  •    •

I know several soldiers out in Iraq. Many of them joined the military not thinking that they would end up in Iraq. I hear so many people say negative comments about them. I understand that many people do not think we really should be in Iraq to begin with, but we should still support the soliders.

Many people have forgotten the fear right after 9/11. We do not really think about anymore because the news stations are not replaying the images from the twin towers. People are not constantly reminded of all the firefighters and civilians that died inside those buildings. We were all in fear of what would happen. We worried about our loved ones and concentrated on bettering our security.

We were all supportive of our country. We were supportive of the soldiers, but since it has all died down, everyone seems hostile towards the soldiers. Yes, I am against the war, but I still make the effort to support our troops in any way possible. The soldiers chose to help defend us. They went out there thinking that they were protecting us. That is what is going on in their mind. Why should not support people who are out there dying for us?

Bravo bravo!
I agree 100% entirely and completely.

statements like this have little purpose.
is there an anti-troop movement in this country?
everyone "supports the troops"
Lets get past that silly rhetoric.
War is over,
if you want it.
End the war....the ultimate support

Bumper stick quote:

If you won't stand behind our troops, please, feel free to stand in front of them.

Also, I don't believe a person should join the military if they are not prepared for combat, or don't think they can become prepared for combat through training.
