I was sitting on my couch the other day, and I start hearing "do you'r chain hang low" and I get up and my dad is there laughing at the music video. Being the oldies listener I was shocked to see him even listening to the music. He didn't know that it was an acual song not just a funny movie. Personally I do not like any music w/ cussing and sexual content, but w/ the music, porn, videos, at a click of a button, how many kids do you think have a chance to see this? They have the parental blockers for TV there should be a program blocking nasty pop ups, certain sites, sounds etc.

There will always be people who do want to see porn & listen to music with expletives. Either stop using the internet or move to a totalitarian country.
But what about underage Internet users' freedom to remain innocent? Forget actual porn sites--those banners and pop-up ads often show highly titillating images where they're not wanted.
I know people have addictions to these things but that's not the point i'm getting at. The point is there are people who don't want to see junk and a pop up comes up and there it is. A little girl or boy age of 6 totally sheltered kid sees this it's going to hurt them in some way

There are a lot of fire walls that parents can put on their computers to keep their children from seeing all the porn. If parents don't want their children to see it, then pay for the more expensive internet (there should be a way to get it free... oops there is; lots of family oriented companies offer ways to download a really good firewall-pax television is the one that comes to my mind). In reality though, the internet is a place for the ultimate when it comes to freedom of speech and unless you are breaking a law, then the government really can't do anything about it. Seriously, if those "totally sheltered kid[s]" parents don't take the time to secure their internet, then theres nothing you can do about it.
By the way, doesn't "totally sheltered" imply that the parents care enough to stop their children from seeing the stuff?
Wait are you putting Chain Hang Low in that category, cause the language is clean and if you watch it, pretty ladies have less than 25 second on screen in the whole video...but if you are just using it as an example of how easy it is to pass info on the internet, then yeah
People are always going to have something around that kids shouln't see. That is why it's called adult. (For the record I agree with girlieforgod, the Chain Hand Low vidio is really mild in comparision to many other vidios.) Most of the vidios on MTV shouldn't be shown to kids, but that's the parent's reponsiblity. As far as the internet thing, I don't think kids younger than ten should be on the internet. Ten to fifteen the parents should know enough to block bad sights, and know what site their child is on in the first place.
