Too much News!!

At first when I joined this blog site, I loved it. I mean there were many interesting blogs. Yet, as time passes by I see more and more of copy/paste news stories. What is worse, is that there is a way too many blogs about one story. For example, the Folley story. There have been a tremendous amount of blog about the story.

I really like this blogging site, because there is a chance to argue about what you believe in. Not everybody believes in the same things, and interprets stories the same way. I love the fact that we have so many different perspective in this site, and slowly it seems that these stories are hard to find, due to the tremendous amount of blogging.

Now, I am not saying that do not blog. Not at all. That is not what I mean to say. However, please do not copy and paste, and please if you notice that there has been atleast two blogs about the topic you want to talk about. Please move, and find another topic for a blog!!!!

I agree with you. I enjoy checking the new posts on PU, but I've read so much about Foley, about the school shootings, etc I can just groan when I see another one. Even if it is the best one yet, it's still hard to read. I'm not saying that those topics aren't important. They are. By all means, discuss them... but do so in the already written posts and save your posts for something we've not read 10 times already.

My biggest gripe though: going to read the new posts and seeing post after post by the same person. That drives me insane. There should really be a 2 post a day rule! I don't want to read the same persons opinions over and over and over. I like them varied with lots of input from all over the place!

I think that is the best thing about this website, that it offers many perspectives from many different people.

As a first time blogger I have found this site to be a learning experience. I've enjoyed sharing ideas with people. The people that are rude about their opinions I could do without, but I'm enjoying the site.
