Why Do I blog?

Why blog? Well. I started because who wouldn't write and read some posts for a chance at a acholarship?  Actually, I debated doing this because I have a xanga site and I hate it.  I never know what to write and I thought that this would not be any different, but the prospect of making my college education cheaper is enticing.  So I am giving it a try and Amazingly, I like it.  A lot in fact. I am quickly becoming as addicted to this as the facebook fad that swept across our school at the beggining of the semester.  I love reading about the current events and peoples opinions of what is really the issue.
It is really great because there are so many thing that I see, especially lately, that I want to do something about, but I never know what to do about it or how to help.  The things I feel strongly about remain just ideas.  Until now, now they have a voice.  Others can read it and whether they agree or not they now know it is an issue.  Yea, blogging is not really a solution of problems, but it gets the word out and gives  us a voice.   It is a good start to a solution.  I think I'll keep this up even after the scholarship. It's a good thing.

yea..i started because of the scholarship too but i am sort of addicted too now. i dont have too much spare time but when ever there's nothing going on at work...u can guess where i'm at... =0)

i agree. i hate posting on xangas... but.. this is interesting. I have options, more specific things to write about, and if i write about something serious, it will actually be read and not just trivialized.
