“Global Warming” seems like an inevitable event. For years there have been climate changes and each major climate change has changed the world drastically. So I’m sorry to say this, but I think the outcome of the climate change is going to happen no mater what we do because it is earth’s normal cycle. There have been a few ice ages and what’s not to say that we could be preparing to go into another one? I think honestly scientist research and money could be put to better use and could be used to solve the more impending issues. I’m not saying that I don’t respect those who think there should be something done, but it is my own personal opinion that at the moment there are way more important issues like, the oil crisis, economic decline, the war in Iraq, Darfur and so on. We need to fix the more immediate threats to human society then something that “could” happen in the future because if we don’t focus on the now then how do we know that anyone will actually be there to experience “Global Warming” and it’s effect. I understand that “Global Warming” could possible be a threat to our lives but it is a slow threat. What’s more important at the moment? People losing their lives over stupid race conflicts or the melting of the Ice caps? Both are important but when it comes down to it which do we pick?
