as you might have heard on the news these days about the immigration debate going on. i think that first of the all the walk out on may 1st called the "immigrant walkout" is not the correct wording. it shoudl rather be called "illegal immigrant walkout" because the people that are organising the protests do want to distinguis immigrants from illegal immigrants. i think that for these people to break the law and enter this country and then tell our government to grant them amnesty is not fair. they shoudl realise that they have broken laws to enter this country therefore they are illegal and they should not have any say in our political system. an exmplae of this can be demonstrated when in california, an illegal alien can may resident fees for their college tutions whereas a person who is born and america and lived in america all their life has to pay of state tution fees. what are your views about this issue?

It is not an illegal immigrant walk out. there were legals in there too. Also I think that it's no fair to work them, and just thrown them, out. You can't make all of them leave. And the government does want their labor. Who do you think is rebuilding NEW ORELEANS? Sure after it's all built people will want them to leave.
I'm wondering if there are so many bad things here, why they came here?? They swim hundreds miles or climb over the border under gun shots just to come say 'you are bad'?

I respect of all you guy's opinion, but I do want to express my opinion as well in the immigration issue. I do understand that the immigrants are here illegally, and do want the right to get amnesty to continue living in America legally, but for those who oppose for immigrants to stay here; why don’t you ask yourselves who are the ones picking the fruit and vegetables for all of us here in California? California having the largest agricultural industry in America today. Is it fair to treat human beings, illegal immigrants or not like slaves? Immigrants are exploited everyday they work long shifts, low pay and with no benefits. For all the Americans that oppose for immigrants to stay here in America, are you willing to do the jobs immigrants to do today? Illegal immigrants not only work for cheap labor, but pay taxes like we all do, but without all the benefits we receive. Immigrants leave their whole life back in their country in search for a better life they don’t come here to cause any harm, but to work. Americans treat this poor hardworking people with no respect and are humiliated everyday. Unless the government starts paying reasonable wages for those jobs migrants do to Americans, Americans won’t do those jobs, and let’s see who will be willing to work as hard as they do. I am not against sending these immigrants back to their country, but what I am against of, is wealthy corporations abusing of these people who are willing to work for pay. And understanding the fact that these people are here illegally the government does have the right to send them back to their country, and to not want them here. But don’t let those who hire migrant’s getaway either, then they too are criminals.
