So earlier this year my friends had all been raving about these books they had all been reading; The Twilight Series. I wasn't very interested at first, but they persisted in talking about it everyday and arguing over who was there favorite character and who should b ewith who. They mentioned vampires and werewolves and I still wasn't all that into it. As the days went on a good friend of mine continued to urge me to read the books and I eventually gave in. Right before our winter break from school I checked out the first book in the series. My friend warned me that I wouldn't be able to put it down, and she was not exagerating. I started reading it at about 5 that afternoon and stayed up till 2in the morning to finish it. I really couldn't put it down. Throughout the entire book I went from laughing to crying to laughing through tears. It was just one of the most, if not the very best book I've ever read. After that I had to wait 4 days to get the second and third one and it was as if there was nothing else on my mind. I'm not normally so obsessive over books, I like books but this one was amazing, like nothing else I have ever read. It is an amazing series and I would like to encourage everyone to read this book!

haha yea i just read the first book too and i loveeed it. I can't wait to read the next one. its crazy : )
yeah they are all really amazing books just like the first one and they are increasingly intense. The fourth one, breaking dawn comes ou tin august and they are also making a movie on twilight.
Stephenie Meyer is an amazing author.
Sounds like an interesting read ill try that out.
If you are like most people, you'll probably be hooked. It's definitely a fast read so it is a good series to read if you are short on time.
i'm so grateful for her as an author! i'm at that stage where the books for teenage girls wher janie sue likes billie bob who likes mindy who likes james aren't good enough for me, but neither am i truly ready to delve into the literature of adults. twilight was my happy medium!!
her next book comes out fall of this year, and i can't wait!
i would say that is a very good way of describing what kind of people she writes for.
I absolutely love the twilight series. I remeber when i checked the first book out of my school library. I let my friend read the first chapter and she was instantly hooked. I had to chase her down in order to get my book back.
So far I've only read the first two, but i hear very good things about the third one.
I think Bella and Edward ( I love Edward) are a good couple. However I couldn't help feeling that i wanted there to be something between Bella and Jacob in the 2nd book. Only if their relationship would be brief.
the FOURTH book comes out in august!!!!!! I cannot wait.
