As I type this, I’m listening to some music on my computer. It’s one of the bands I recently got the music for, and I have not been able to get past the fourth song on this album. “Glorious” by Ever Stays Red.
I absolutely love this line.
“As I look up at the sky on this glorious night, I can sense You here with me. Oh, I couldn’t count the times I’ve allowed the sky to remind me that You are glorious. God, You are glorious.”

The next verse is just a powerful.
“Seems every single day I’m amazed at the way this world reveals Your love. Oh I couldn’t ever find the words to explain the ways in which You are glorious. God, You are glorious.”
How often do we sit back and realize that God is glorious? How often? I know for me, it’s not near often enough. I’m stuck on how I’m gonna get this paper done, how much time I have left to study before I have that test, how much time I can waste before I have that test. This song explains how often we should meditate on God’s glory.
“Daily I will let my life be a tribute to the ways in which You are glorious.”
Oh, how I wish I could sing the song for you. The song is fully captured in how the band plays the music perfectly enough to let the vocalist shine and grip the listener’s heart with conviction.
Father, may I spend more time realizing that You are God, I am man, and You are glorious.

The first lyrics remind me of "When I Look To The Sky" by Train. It's a really good song, but I think it's more about a girlfriend that's passed away.
"When I look to the sky, something tells me you're here with me,
You make everything alright"
You get the idea.
