Here I am-I am a future journalist-is this my stepping stone?
Look, I'm no psychic, and if i can't look into your future, what make you think I can look into my own? But hey, all I can do is guess right?
The future is something we are scared of, some look forward to, and some jus simply don't care. Is that something we can control? Maybe. But the future is something we must face, because if we don't move towards that, we're moving away from progress, ultimately moving away from change.
I've only been on this website, for about 10 minutes. I wanted a scholaship. That's all. But I see things here that I have no idea about. I see a tight-knit community, and all I can hope is that I blend in.
I'm just a kid! I'm a eighteen year-old, but I'm a proud possessor of an old soul which I carry to my grave-happily too! So will it carry me far here, hopefully so.
A blog caught my eye-and I ask, who was Kiota?
I'm looking around, searching for her blogs after reading a blog in the "Highest Rated" pane, titled something like "A Celebration of Life".
I read her blogs, and I'm astonished to no end-
I go to send her a message and I remember, wow.
She obviously was loved by many on this site...and I see why. Not because of just her words...but because of her spirit-her fervor!
I want to not copy her essence....but stand tall with my words, in not just the memory of my father, but now, in hers as well.

I'd like to point out, though, that you are not eligible for this semester's scholarship, since the registration deadline was a month ago. You will be eligible for the contest that begins around September 1st, though, and you should stick around and build up your readership and become familiar with the website in the meantime.
